Meet Lindsey

Lindsey Anuzis Gage (she/her), MA, LCMHC, NCC | Therapist

We’re a good fit if... you’re reflective, driven, and deeply self-aware, yet often weighed down by a harsh inner critic. You feel pressure to keep up, hold it all together, and meet high expectations, often at the expense of your own well-being – leaving you with the constant belief that you (or your effort) is never “enough”. You may have a sense that something needs to change, but aren’t sure where to begin.

Working with me looks like a balance of deep exploration and practical support. We’ll make sense of your story while also building tools you can use in your daily life. I integrate somatic approaches (like breathwork, gentle movement, and nervous system regulation) with parts work (IFS) and cognitive therapies. This allows you to better understand and work through your thoughts, emotions, and lived experiences in a way that feels both grounded and actionable.

My ideal client is... a college-aged or adult woman who is ready to reconnect with her power and her peace. She often feels overwhelmed trying to manage it all—various roles and responsibilities—quietly carrying stress and anxiety until it begins to show up in her body, relationships, or daily functioning.

I’m passionate about helping women heal their relationships with food, their bodies, and ultimately, themselves. Together, we’ll explore the deeper narratives that have shaped your experiences and begin to build a new story—one that feels more compassionate, empowering, and sustainable. Much of my work centers around supporting women in healing from disordered eating and eating disorders, body image distress, complex or sexual trauma, anxiety, and self-worth challenges. I also enjoy working with fellow therapists and equestrians.

I create safety and build rapport by... showing up with warmth, authenticity, and curiosity. I believe healing happens in the context of safe, genuine relationships, so I invite you to show up as you are—and I promise to do the same. My style is relational, direct, and compassionate, and I believe humor can be an important part of the healing process. I value collaborative and open communication, and I encourage feedback so our work together feels aligned with your needs.

Three things I love: time with my family—my husband Brandon, our daughter, and our pups, Chance & Quinn; being outdoors (horseback riding, hiking, paddle boarding, yoga); and slow mornings at the farmers market with a good cup of coffee.
