Meet Rebekah
Rebekah Barrett (she/her) | Counseling Intern
We’re a good fit if… you experience emotions deeply and feel especially sensitive to the world around you. Perhaps you’re having challenges navigating in school, in relationships, in the workplace, or maybe you just feel bogged down by the weight of the world. If you’re seeking a space that honors your emotional intensity rather than asking you to tone it down, you’re in the right place.
My ideal client is… ready to start loving themself without conditions. You might feel unseen, unheard, or misunderstood—by others or even by yourself. You’re looking for support in navigating big emotions in a world filled with injustice, uncertainty, and overwhelm, and you want a counselor who truly sees you and meets you where you are. You don’t need to have everything figured out—you just need to show up, exactly as you are.
I create safety and build rapport by… showing up authentically and offering unconditional kindness, affirmation, and respect for you as an individual. Healing happens when you feel genuinely held and supported, so I strive to create a space where all parts of you are welcome—without judgment or pressure. I hold space for you no matter where you are in your journey, leading with compassion and empathy while honoring you as the leader of your own healing process.
Three things I love: being outdoors; whether I’m hiking, walking the dog, or just sitting in the sun, I’m happy! I’m passionate about horses; spending time at the stables has always been deeply therapeutic for me. And lastly, I love a good book—especially historical fiction. When I need rest or grounding, I often find my solace within the pages of a novel.
