Meet Sierra
Sierra Weavil (she/her), LCSWA | Therapist
We’re a good fit if… you’re looking for a therapist who helps you understand what’s happening both in your mind and in your body, and who supports you in carrying what you learn in therapy into your everyday life. You may enjoy creative, experiential approaches and want skills that feel practical, grounding, and sustainable, not just something to talk about in session. You’re open to learning how to relate differently to your thoughts, emotions, and internal experiences, with an emphasis on acceptance rather than self-criticism.
My ideal client is… adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, body image concerns, and disordered eating, as well as those who identify as neurodivergent, including individuals with ADHD, OCD, autism, sensory sensitivity, or brains that simply work differently than what society often expects. I especially enjoy working with women and gender-diverse individuals who are curious about learning both how to work with their thoughts and how to listen to and support their nervous system. You may have been in therapy before and are now looking to move beyond insight alone, wanting to bring the skills you’ve learned into your life in a more deeply embodied, lived way. If you’re new to therapy, you don’t need prior experience, just a willingness to explore yourself with compassion and curiosity.
I create safety and build rapport by… creating a space where nothing is off limits, and everything is always your choice. You are welcome to share anything without fear of judgment, and you are never pressured to talk about something before you’re ready. Acceptance is central to my work; I believe emotions, thoughts, and internal experiences do not need to be fixed or pushed away in order to be understood. I aim to be warm, inviting, and attuned to your pace, while consistently holding a strengths-based lens that keeps your resilience, insight, and capacity for growth at the forefront of our work together.
Three (or so) things I love: I love sunrises and sunsets, and the quiet reminder they offer to slow down and notice beauty in the natural world. I also deeply appreciate a cozy hot drink—tea or hot cocoa—something sensory and grounding that invites a moment of comfort and presence. And I love people, especially my family, my fiancé, and our puppy, but also humans in general; their complexity, creativity, diversity, and humanness continually inspire and move me..
